It all started about 7 months ago when my husband came home very excited with a soul winning script in his hand a smile and excitement I have never seen him with before. He told me he was flipping the channels and came across a Pastor and his wife who were speaking about what we have been questioning and praying to God about. He told me that he went down to the church and got trained up to go soul winning. He hit the streets and led people to the Lord for the first time.  So the next night we came to a Great Awakening service and experienced God like we had never experienced him before. We were baptized with the Holy Ghost and Fire and received our heavenly prayer language. That was the first time that I truly felt the power of God, laid out on the ground speaking in another language other than my own pinned to the floor unable to move with a million thoughts going through my mind. I knew for sure for sure that God was real and that he loves me! Since that night my whole life has been changed I found a new love for others and look at life from an eternal prospective.

I want to see everyone saved and set free from bondage. I have learned that nothing I have is by my own strength but by the grace of God. I have been trained up to win souls for the lord and that is exactly what I do. I have lead many souls to the Lord including people at my work place which is very big for me. It is very big to me due to the fact that I get persecuted at work by not only co-workers but supervisors as well for being so into Jesus. They call me Jesus Girl at work and if they see me talking to someone they will interrupt a conversation to ask if I am converting someone else today. Well many of the seeds of the devil who were being a thorn in my side are now children of the Most High God.

We, like many other students, moved from a home and property that was paid for, left full-time jobs with state benefits and the securities of familiarity of environment with family and friends close by having those we love scratching their heads and questioning our sanity.  For you see, the security we had come to know was in itself most recent, with both my husband and I gainfully employed for the first time in our 17 ½ years of marriage.  Everyone had thought we had arrived at status quo, working at one of the most prestigious hospitals in the country and living the American dream.  We however, we very unsettled in our spirits; knowing that there was certainly a greater picture and purpose for our lives.  Everywhere we looked, be it the shuttle riding into the hospital or the cars surrounding us in the middle of rush hour traffic, we saw souls and questioned how many of them were counted for the Kingdom of Heaven.  This burden continued to rise up in us until we could no longer question our purpose; we HAD to get to the River!

Since coming a little more than three weeks ago now to the Tampa area, just two hours from “home” near Gainesville, Florida, I have felt a multitude of emotions.  In all honesty, there were many times, especially during that first week of adjustment for my family that I wanted to tuck tail and RUN; however, we adjusted accordingly, prayed a lot and learned to rely on God much more.

Since my arrival God has really changed my life.  Before I got here I was living in a town filled with poverty and lack.  My mindset about giving was infiltrated with religion.  Though I had been broken through in the area of giving before, I didn’t realize I had backslid in that area.  Last week when the giving services broke out, I felt the Lord pulling on my heart to do something big. Sunday morning while Pastor Rodney was teaching about offering and telling the congregation what happened in the school the previous week, the Lord began to deal with me about giving my alabaster box.

He said, “Give your wedding ring”.  I was shocked.  I tried to push the thought out of my head.  I battled back and forth, taking the ring off and putting it back on several times.  I decided not to give it, and made myself forget about it.  As crazy as it sounds, about a minute later, the ring itself began feeling extremely uncomfortable.  It was as if the ring was on fire!  I couldn’t stand it! I had to take it off and put it on the alter.  I moved to the end of my row and gained permission from the usher to place it on the alter.  After I gave the ring to God I felt something break inside of me.  The power of God fell on me so strong; I had to get on my knees before him.

I was crying and laughing at the same time.  I was on my face like this for several minutes when I felt a tap on my shoulder.  I looked up to see another Bible student.  She took her wedding ring off of her hand and slipped it on mine.  Not only was it beautiful, it was the perfect fit.  My husband and I both had such an indescribable experience with God after this happened.  I really cannot write it in words.  All I know is I will never be the same again!

It’s been a huge blessing since I’ve come back for my second here at the river bible institute. Last year was a huge blessing doing the river school of worship. It was great being able to experience and learn everything about worship and music. So last year was absolutely a great blessing and throughout last I led 170 souls to Christ so it was a great time. And it’s great to be back, Tampa is a great place. Once I got off the plane after I landed I was really excited, thinking about everything that God was going to do this year. And this year I’ve been experiencing Jesus in awesome ways. Been really plugging in and seeking all that God has for me. And I’ve got a really great feeling that this is going to be my year.

I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I got a great feeling that I’m going to be doing all kinds of stuff for God. I know he has called my name, and I’ve been seeking his will since I was 15 and I’m 22 now. And I know Gods going to send me around the world doing all kinds of ministry things. Lately God has been revealing himself to me in amazing ways. And I really feel deep in my spirit that God is calling me to do music ministry. Music is the gift that God has given me, and I knew by the time I was 15 what I felt God wanted me to start doing. And I started singing and than started playing not long after that. And I’m really passionate about the gifts he has given me.

And he has really given me the ability to play and sing rock music. And I really enjoy using it for his glory and lift up his name. And I also feel that he wants me to preach as well. So I’m so excited and thrilled for what God is still having me do, and everything else he is going to have me do. And I’m really looking forward to traveling the world preaching the good news of Jesus Christ. God bless…..Robert  A.

It has been another powerful week of meetings! Seeing people driving to come and be a part of what God is doing, and what He is going to do through them. Taking teams  of people out who have never done soul winning, using the script. Listening to them how easy it is just by reading the script. And there testimonies. I have been a part of being on the prayer calls. People excepting Jesus Christ as there Lord and savior. Healings and miracles.

This week what stands out was a phone call I took. A lady called very upset for prayer for her husband. He had been rushed to the hospital in congested heart failure. To say the least she was in a panic mood.. Lord told me to pray peace over her.. Told her I wanted to pray fro her. She said “NO”, pray for my husband. Well I started to pray for her. I read scriptures of peace. She began to listen and calm. Then I said ok let me now pray for your husband. I prayed for him for awhile. The Lord directing my words. Then I told her that we would pray together for his healing. Told her what the bible said where two or more are gathered together there is power. We prayed, and she repeated what I said. We took authority over that fowl spirit of infirmity that had come against her husband. We said burn it out Lord at the root!

I said when you go to hospital tomorrow, lay hands on your husband. Gave her healing scriptures to pray over him. Told her she would be calling me with a praise report!

Next day she goes….. Calls ministry after her visit. “WELL”… she prayed for her husband and when the Doctors came in to check him , there was no sign of the congested heart failure!!!! Wohooooooo!!! Healed in Jesus name!!! This raised this ladies faith, right off the rector scale!! Was powerful. She couldn’t believe the power of just talking Gods word to her over the phone. And how her husband would receive!!! Glory to God. And for God to use me to be the vessel, to pour into her life. God is so good. Preach the word, and watch what happens! -Lesley N

My family truly is being touched and set on fire! My 13 year old daughter is home schooled by virtual school and yesterday she felt on her heart to email the online script on claybe.com to all the teachers. She sent out the email to about 50-60 teachers. Unfortunately the vice principle emailed her and the teachers she emailed saying she was not allowed to send those kind of emails. The good part is that it was already sent!! The Holy Spirit will do the rest! I was so happy that my daughter was obedient to the voice of the Holy Spirit. After she sent the email she could not move from her seat. She said she felt the Holy Spirit and was hot.

I was praising God!!

Today I went to Sam’s club and saw some people I had witnessed to before. I got to encourage one to come to our services. He was inquiring about the bible school. I got to talk to another that I had prayed with and he told me him and his daughter is going to church now. I was so happy to see the fruit! I also got to lead a father and daughter to the Lord in the parking lot as I was leaving.

I also prayed for the man to be healed. He has no feeling in his legs and cannot use them very well due to a blood clot he had removed. I am believing God to do mighty things for him. I gave him a card with the churches information and invited them to come to church. His daughter had never had anyone tell her that God loves her and has a wonderful plan for her life. I thank God for the opportunity to be the one to share His lover for her. -Jessica D.

Souls, Souls, Souls. This is what has been the driving force behind this Great Awakening tour. One of the greatest testimony’s that I have coming forth from these past 31 days has been the fact that I have been shaken out of my place of complacency and ignited again to do what God has called me to do as  a believer! I did not truly understand my purpose until I began winning souls. I served in ministry for many years and really felt called to do something for God, but was still so lost. When I was introduced to the script, I discovered my purpose.

However, as time went on, and as life happened, as I got busy in the every day activities of life, souls were still important, but I was not winning them as much as I knew that I should. But these past meetings have rekindled something on the inside of me that has caused me to stay so focused on the Kingdom. I am so conscious of eternity and what God has called me to do. Souls have become my priority.

I am usually inside most of the day, but even in my time where I have the opportunity to run an errand, or my husband and I may come home late after a meeting, someone hears the Gospel. It was even to the point that I had to take care of some business that I otherwise could not find the time to do; the sales person, who was helping me, heard the Gospel and got saved! Praise the Lord! This is such an exciting time in my life!  -Needra H.

These revival meetings have showed me how important it is to be confident and to know who you are in Christ because it is He that is living in and through you.  It is important to press in at all times so you won’t lose your focus on who you are in Christ.  When you keep your eyes on Jesus you will overcome despite your circumstances.  When you are confident, you will have the boldness that you need to win people to the Lord and fulfill the great commission.  You will have a greater impact when you go outside the four walls of the church.  You will be a working vessel for the Lord.  Church is not only for you to sit and be an observer; it is for you to get fed and filled up so you can go out on the highways and the byways and overflow. 

So don’t ever under estimate the power of going outside the four walls of the church to the streets because you never know whom you will impact.  I have been applying this aspect to my own life because I was always apprehensive when it came to approaching people.  I have always kept to myself and never spoke to anyone I didn’t know.  Now I go soul winning every week with the church and when I’m not in church I still win people to the Lord.  I was eating at a small local restaurant and the cook got saved. My friend and I wanted to go somewhere to soul win so we went to the laundry mat and bunch of people got saved while they were doing their laundry.  –Angela P.

The Great Awakening services has been awesome, GOD is doing amazing things in the service, I believe America will be shaking by the power of GOD during this Great Awakening, thousands and thousands souls will come to the kingdom of GOD to proclaim his glory. The presence of GOD is moving in the service so powerful, people are being set free and delivered, it amazing of what happening. I don’t have the opportunity to come to the service every night, but the few nights I’ve attended were tremendously reviving my spirit and strengthen me in the tings of GOD.

I can honestly say I am bless to be part of this great event, once again I am so bless to be part of this ministry, I’ve grown so much in the thing of GOD, every since I started coming to this church, my life incredibly change. I am so thankful of what GOD is doing in my live; no word can quietly describe the blessing this ministry pour out in my life. I use to always have a passion burning in my heart to tell people about JESUS, but I didn’t know how to start, one day I came visit the River and Pastor Daniel announced soul winning where they go out every day to preach the good news, I got so excited and I say to myself  “I think I am in the right place” I’ve been longing to know how to win souls to CHRIST, finally my dream came true, I met with Pastor Jennifer and taught me how to soul winning and sent me on the field and about ten peoples give their heart to GOD. –Mackie M.

The last two days have been amazing!  I think it would be safe to say that The River at Tampa Bay Church is a soul winners paradise.  Sunday morning I almost came unglued when Pastor Rodney shared about the group of men who were in someone’s home watching football and when the game was over, while channel surfing, they stopped on the broadcast of our evening meeting.  One of the men called the ministry to ask us to please explain what just happened to his three friends who were rolling on the floor laughing and crying. 

Then, on Sunday evening I helped out in the phone room taking calls from people throughout the nation and around the world. The phones rang off the wall!  There are so many hungry and hurting people out there.  I led seven people to the Lord and prayed for an eighty-one year old grandmother who had sore knees.  All the soreness left and she begin bending her knees and walking around the house praising God for what He had done for her.  Today I took a team soul winning in a very depressed neighborhood.  Three people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 

A man who had just gotten home from the emergency room was in so much pain he could hardly walk.  We led him to the Lord and prayed for him.  All the pain left his back.  He was amazed.  He said, “Now I can go back to work.”  In only two hours we went door to door preaching the Gospel and prayed the prayer of salvation with seventy-six people.  These are the days that were just a prayer and a dream only a few years ago.
